WHERE DID THE IDEA FOR PLUG SENSE COME FROM?
The idea for the Plug Sense 7-way connector protectors followed years of experience towing a wide range of trailers.
Lighting malfunctions caused by dirty or corroded electrical connections were a common problem typically discovered at the most inconvenient time; right before hitting the road. Not only would it delay departure, but it would also require a significant amount of time and money to fix. We set out on a mission to solve this problem.
The result is Plug Sense, a simple and inexpensive way to keep the connection clean and the tail and signal lights working!
WHY DOES PLUG SENSE WORK?
The product’s intuitive design allows users to easily and effectively use Plug Sense to protect most 7-way blade Plugs on trailers, and 7-way Sockets on towing vehicles during storage or periods of non-use. Apply corresponding Plug Sense pieces to the 7-way plug and the socket and your electrical connectors are protected.

Ever since road departments began using harsher products to de-ice highways, corrosion damage to vehicles electrical connections has escalated causing added downtime and additional maintenance expenses, much of which are unplanned, on-the-road repairs that always cost more.
